we left at 8 in the morning to Taupo where we went to see the ARATIATIA DAM releasing water at 10am. it was prettaye cos the water is uber clean and clear (: then we went to ride on the RAPIDS JET (it’s the jet boat fyi). this wasn’t as fun as the one i took in goldfields mining centre in 2004 cos the guy last time made lotsa swerves onto the cliffs and when it looked like he was going to crash the next second he would spin away in the next split second. ultimate prodedness. this one was quite fun also lahh. i shall be satisfied (:

next stop was the craters of the moon where we went in to see all the thermal spots where there was smoke coming out from the grounds in big fat white stinking swirls. stinking cos of sulphur and it smells of rotten eggs and im bloody allergic to eggs rawr. anw the place is like. SPECTACULAR. they all look like small and big craters that formed from volcanic eruptions but the trees around make me think that i’ve returned to the land of the dinosaurs. the LAND BEFORE TIME. X) total distance traveled here was 2.7km. oh i have to give my mum the honour of walking the entire distance. a ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR HER PLEASE (:

then we had lunch at subway (: oh then the most exciting thing in the entire trip happened. SPEEDING TICKET! hahahahaha i was watching goblet of fire on shinco when suddenly i heard shit police. i was like WHAT?! and the police came from the opposite side. rawr. he was like the speed limit is 100km/h and you drove 122km/h. then chen da shu shu was like im concentrating on the roads so i did not notice the speedometer haha. but the police obviously didn’t buy our story that’s why we got a 170buck speeding ticket. holeymoleyschmokes.

moving on to wai-o-tapu thermal wonderland where we didn’t go in cos it was more or less the same as the craters of the moon but took pictures outside the gift shop with the big sign so it was like just PRETENDING TO HAVE BEEN THERE LOL. so we went to waimangu volcanic valley where the lady said it was totally different from the craters of the moon so we decided to go in. we found this place cos we rented our car from hertz and they gave us this booklet where we could get like 5-10% discounts off places and stuffums. so we went there and bought our tickets and walked to station 4 when chen da shu shu realized that my dad cleverly didn’t give the voucher to the lady so we still paid the normal price without any discount at all. like LOL. anw we walked 4km in total (even though we didn’t finish all 32 stations but we walked a lot more cos me and my dad ran in front to check the roads and stuffums).

so conclusion is that we are totally beat and we almost DIED.
