next stop was the craters of the moon where we went in to see all the thermal spots where there was smoke coming out from the grounds in big fat white stinking swirls. stinking cos of sulphur and it smells of rotten eggs and im bloody allergic to eggs rawr. anw the place is like. SPECTACULAR. they all look like small and big craters that formed from volcanic eruptions but the trees around make me think that i’ve returned to the land of the dinosaurs. the LAND BEFORE TIME. X) total distance traveled here was 2.7km. oh i have to give my mum the honour of walking the entire distance. a ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR HER PLEASE (:
then we had lunch at subway (: oh then the most exciting thing in the entire trip happened. SPEEDING TICKET! hahahahaha i was watching goblet of fire on shinco when suddenly i heard shit police. i was like WHAT?! and the police came from the opposite side. rawr. he was like the speed limit is 100km/h and you drove 122km/h. then chen da shu shu was like im concentrating on the roads so i did not notice the speedometer haha. but the police obviously didn’t buy our story that’s why we got a 170buck speeding ticket. holeymoleyschmokes.
moving on to wai-o-tapu thermal wonderland where we didn’t go in cos it was more or less the same as the craters of the moon but took pictures outside the gift shop with the big sign so it was like just PRETENDING TO HAVE BEEN THERE LOL. so we went to waimangu volcanic valley where the lady said it was totally different from the craters of the moon so we decided to go in. we found this place cos we rented our car from hertz and they gave us this booklet where we could get like 5-10% discounts off places and stuffums. so we went there and bought our tickets and walked to station 4 when chen da shu shu realized that my dad cleverly didn’t give the voucher to the lady so we still paid the normal price without any discount at all. like LOL. anw we walked 4km in total (even though we didn’t finish all 32 stations but we walked a lot more cos me and my dad ran in front to check the roads and stuffums).
so conclusion is that we are totally beat and we almost DIED.

OKAY today my dad was like the proest guy on earth, ytd he ‘went’ to see the counter at the wellington cable car station and told us they open at 7am so we decided to reach there at 7.30am just in case cos we had to drive like 500+km (approximately 5h in total). so we happily went there and found out it was closed. WOW. no surprise there. BECAUSE MY DAD DIDN’T SEE THAT THEY OPEN AT 9AM ON BOXING DAY. give him a big round of applause man. so we decided to go to macdonalds for breakfast cos my dad said they open at 8am but wen we went there they said they open at 9 0.o we seriously didn’t know whether to laugh or cry man. so we decided to start driving towards Napier which was where we would stay for the night.
on the way we stopped at macs for breakfast cos we were so starving and the macs here is like a lot friggin cheaper than that in Singapore man. theres this set of 2 mcmuffins and a hash brown and a drink and it only cost 7 bucks. like where can you get there in Singapore man. anw. i watched prison break on the shinco player and when we reached napier i really had to PEE. okay that’s not the point. then we proceeded to the national aquarium of new Zealand together with the kiwi house and went in. basically its like a much larger version of the underwater world, and of course they hace the KIWIS (: who are uber cute but you cant really see them clearly cos they see in the dark so it’s a lil too dark.
then we went to 步行街 and went shopping while my dad and chen da shu shu went to some mission winery. yea we bought lotsa stuffums cos the stuffums there are cheap man (esp its boxing day cos they have like uber huge sales on boxing day). like the kinda shorts you get at zara for like 49/59+ (around there lahh) you can get here for 15bucks. GOOD JOBIES.
we were going to go to earthquake 31 to experience a real life earthquake but they apparently closed down. rawr wat unfairness. i like eigth wonder kayes. they have this hurricane harry thingum and stuffums. yeppsies. and so i totally changed into a set of new clothes (NOT MY FRIGGIN IDEA IN THE LEAST. I WAS FWEEGEE FORCED KAYES). BUT OH WELLS. so we went to Woolworths and bought a roasted chicken (it was sealed fyi) coleslaw pizza macaroni lasagna ice cream (: and came back to the motel and cooked instant noodle and ate all of that yipps.
oh i SWEAR lots of the kiwis here (meaning the ppl just in case you thought i was such a whacko) have a problem pronouncing the word yepps. they saw YIPPS. no offence to any kiwis who see this x)

then we started driving in and reached a lake first, Lake Rotoroa. prettaye prettaye prettaye (: if Singapore had like 1/100th of the scenary here we wouldn’t need to build dumb casinos rawr. ANW. we drove into the REAL 4WD (but still the mild one cos our car is not the special kind of 4WD car that can like go through EVERYTHING) and went up and up and up and up and all the sharp turns on the mountain etc and our asses were so sore and shaken everyone was scratching LOL. like hello its not my fault the entire road is full of moving pebbles and stones and twigs and branches and stuffums like that. the uber pro part is that we got lost. no surprise there with two pro map readers on the car and two totally direction-less people and one very indignant and obsessed with watching prison break on the car person. cos we reached this split road and the problem was that there were two signs pointing to each of the split roads and it both said PRIVATE ROADS. like okay honey you cant expect me to drive DOWN the mountain vertically right sheesh. so we picked the one on the left cos three of us felt that it was the ‘better’ road, but we cleverly reached a BIG FAT DEAD END after like half and hour?! rawr. so we drove ALL THE WAY BACK to square one and drove out. the entire journey up and down took like 2hours i think. applause us thankews.
we proceeded to Nelson where we were going to stay for the night, but we stopped over at Mapo to take some pictures (that was the plan at first but the entire place was so dead since it was Christmas eve we decided to give up). it had this small underwater world like the one in sentosa but they had much more SOPHISTICATED fishums yeppsies. then we drove to Nelson, from Lake Rotoroa to Nelson was like 70-80km? i dunno we’ve been traveling too much. We stopped at Rimu Grove where my dad and chen da shu shu bought six bottles of wine (2 pinot noir 2003 2 pinot noir 2004 2 chardonnay) and wondered WHERE THE HELL WE WERE GOING TO STICK THEM.
at night we had Christmas night dinner at this thai restaurant and it was nice and not expensive too. (new zealand’s food is uber ex. the cheapest meal we had was subway hahaha. no oops i mean the instant noodles we brought was the cheapest :D) ooh and chen da shu shu and yu jia ah yi bought me this uber round-and-fat-and-cute sheep with MEIMAOS for Christmas (: yayysies.

we then proceeded to HOKITIKA for lunch at FOUR OH CLOCK. we rock man. its this small town which we came for lunch the last time in 2004, and we ate CHINESE FOOD which totally was like to pian4 wai4 guo2 ren2. but oh wells wat can you expect.
next we drove to greymouth but didn't stop cos theres nothing much there, then on the way to our hotel in Westport we stopped at punakaiki where there are the PANCAKE ROCKS (wat a punny word :D) and they seriously look like pancakes stacked ontop of one another no kidding. then back to hotel and we ate at home (home meaning motel cos two families stay in one motel).

We arrived at PUZZLING WORLD (WANAKA) at 8.30 sharp in the morning and that place is COOL man. Like outside theres this tower that is uber slanted and the numbers on the clock go backwards! Aint it cool (:
And the 4 towers outside puzzling world are slanted too! Then we went in and first we saw this fat convex (I think the word is convex it's a dent) mould of Albert Einstein. And the cool part is that if you stare at it with like one eye and walk towards to the left then after a few times you'll realize that einstein's eyes are following you! uber freaky can. but uber cool. then you walk somemore and there are lotsa hologram pics. there was one where you looked in and there were two women holding a LONG GUN at you. RAWR. boo.
then you move in and theres this room where there are like FOUR WALLS of this kinda convex faces. one is Mandela and one is BEEDOVAN! haha baylee your beloved bf (: I saw him nanannypoopoo. haha I took pics and vids for you so don't be jealous kayes. :D
THEN. the slanted room! where the floor is 15 degrees slanting down. so when we walk its like UBER FUNNY and my mum almost fainted from both laughing and dizziness. then theres this WEIRD TABLE that is slanting upwards but when you put a ball there it rolls upwards! haha dee you know why right (: I try posting the pics and vids when I get back cos the thing here is quite screwy. internet I mean.
then theres this chair that works on the same concept. its going upwards but when you sit on it it goes upwards by itself! uber cool cos when my mum went on she couldn't get off HAHA. and when we walked we all looked like retarded penguins trying very hard to fly but to no avail LOL.
OOH. then theres this room that looks perfectly from the window (looking in through bars into the room) but when you go in (there are two doors one on the left one on the right) then when you walk in on the right you look like a giant (OBVIOUSLY I went there being me :D) then made my dad go to the left (to make him short even though he alr is 1.5cm shorter than kayleighwee teeheehee. so I felt weally weally tall (: so baylee obviously you have to go through the left door and be short for like ONCE you giant.
later we went outside to the great maze where you're supposed to find the four towers red green blue and yellow, then we weren't gonna find them cos no time but in the end I ran away and found three (: until my dad found me and we went out the emergency exit loserly cos he needed to pee ):
MOVING ON. we went to ride the big foot! this uber huge bus with wheels that are taller than me ): unfortunately ahem. I actuallt DROVE the goddamn bus can. I drove it down a river (im supposed to do so fyi) and up and down hills and made this uber sharp turn (: and I drove better than my mum! haha and to think she has a LICENSE for driving. (if she sees this im uber dead man haha). ooh and before we went up the big foot I drove this go-cart looking thing round the track 10 laps at this increasing speed which in my opinion was not bad for a FIRST TIME in controlling an actual car with brake accelerator steering wheel yepps (: i know its like uber ego but I DID NOT CRASH INTO THE TYRES AOUND THE TRACK while avoiding sheep poo haha. but UNFORTUNATELY, I rode over one uber fast and it flew above my head and landed somewhere on cheng da shu shu's car :P oops!
THE NEXT THING WAS ALSO A FIRST EXPERIENCE FOR ME. helicopter! the experience is like. rawr I have absolutely nothing to say. my INGARLESE is too poor (yesire you infected me you PEENUT). we landed on top of fox glacier and when I looked down I was like WOAH I can like just DIE you know. the thickness of the ice is like 30-300m thick like OKAY. I tried writing my name with one foot on the snow then the first time failed cos there was alr a footprint there so there wasn't enough space. then the second time failed cos uncle cheng da stepped right into my Y like LOL. then the THRID time was a success cos I walked down a bit where no one had walked cos it was alr a bit sloping down and I thought I was gonna fall down kayes. im uber scared of heights rawr. and my foor went right down in the snow and my socks were all wet and I thought I was gonna break right through until the pilot was like the ice is at least 30m thick so right. then when we were flying back we saw this waterfall coming out of a crack in the glacier and he went VERTICALLY down and went close up (: ULTIMATE COOLNESS. haha when I came two years ago my grandparents and I didn’t get to take the helicopter cos there was a tad too much clouds but this time was YAYYSIES!
when we finally reached the hotel at fox glacier we took a short scenic walk into lake Matheson and the view was just SPECTACULAR I should say. next to the carpark there was like uber tall grass so we decided to go in and take pictures (: then after that I suddenly had this idea so we took a picture of me my mum and my dad's shadow. UBER NICE. I put up soon (: then we walked across this bridge and found the lake :] at night we went into this glowworm glotto to see glowworms but the problem was there wasn't any ounce of light so we were uber freaked out. FWEAKED OUT. it wasn't as nice as last time when we went into this glowworm during the DAY but of course it was still dark and stuffs so you can see the glowworms (:

then we went back to the city centre of QUEENSTOWN and went up the skyline gondola (cable car btw) and on the way up we saw uber cute and fat sheep then were SO HIGH UP and happily eating grass (:
OOH. then we rode the luge down halfway the mountain (go check wat a luge is me aint gonna explain here the old peeps are alr rattling). it was uber fun so i went up again and took the advanced down. YAYY. uber fun i was like as red as a tomato.
then we drove to arrowtown this old historic town they preserved like since the 1800s(?) and then we played someMORE 4WD (invented by ourselves) and drove through small lakes and stuffums, splashing water everywhere (: and the flowers at the side are like CORN but they are real prettaye (:
then we drove to Wanaka where we is staying for the night yesies. tmr morning we're going to puzzling world then to big foot then back to wanaka for lunch at THAI SIAM and go and buy my nano wire (:

After like a 6+h flight to Sydney and waiting for 2.5h then transferring to Christchurch for 2.5h im dead beat man. Its like 10+ here at night, I think its 5h difference.
ANYWAY. After we zao from the airport we went straight to the Antarctic Centre (which I had already gone the last time) and went in to learn more about PENGUINS and experience real life blizzard in the Antarctic. It was like a friggin NEGATIVE THIRTY DEGREES MAN. I like became frosty the snowman 0.o please.
Then we came back to the Antonio's Motor Lodge where we are like staying for one night only (this is in Christchurch btw). Its quite cosy like a nice small home (: oh we're here with ah bao's parents teeheehee. So its like quite funnnnn. Then we went to the Christchurch cathedral which I went to the last time in 2004. then it started bellowing this digusting out of tune out of rhythm music which was like totally eeyuck. Then we were to oxford something for dinner (lamb and beef steaks plus salads and fwench fwies) :D then we came home feeling uber bloated. We're leaving tmr morning at 8am and we're gonna drive like 3h I think. Im gonna watch something on the portable dvd player man rawr.
