Hmm I just realised that my blog is really dead.

Read the whole of New Moon today, and for the first half of the book I could completely relate to Bella's experience. Pain and agony I mean, but not to her extent.
And yes the whole too, but I didn't need to use one arm to wrap around my body for fear of it breaking into pieces.

And yesterday I spent a couple of hours putting this snowwhite jigsaw puzzle together cos it made me feel good because after it was done I actually felt like I had accomplished something.

But then it kind of made me think about all those fairytales and how Katie runs around shouting princess princess all the time.

Someone should sue Disney for making every girl believe that they have a prince charming.

Looking back at my past posts (yes I actually went to my archives), I realised a monumental difference in my posts. For one, no matter the amount of stress I was undergoing, you could still sum it up with this :D All those times in school, screwing around and stuffs really made me smile. Referring specifically to September 27 2006 when I was ranting about how I was so stressed I wanted to jump down the building and die (no I am not suicidal not even a bit thank you very much), but that was obviously not going to work because I'm afraid of heights, 'unlike mr mizar's marvelous 'neighbour' who tried committing suicide from the 2nd storey'. I smiled at that.

Further back: September 20 2006. Kayleighwee tried to murder Zhanghao in class (with an eraser) because she and dorcas were aiming for the clock and Zhanghao was standing under it talking to Jingwei. Right before kay threw the eraser Zhanghao actually said this to Jingwei: 'Jingwei, 经过我的观察，我觉得你是属于一个怪人.' (When translated into English, it means 'through my observations, I feel that you are a weirdo' - said to my ex-classmate by my ex-chinese teacher). I laughed real hard at that.

Those were the days, probably the happiest days of my life, (and days that never ended by breaking your heart).

Well sorry to let you down but there really isn't anything in my life that is remotely interesting (or lets just put it this way - nothing in my life you want to know about that is remotely interesting). 'combined was funny only towards the end. everyone was like half dying from fantasia. ms ku was going through figures M and N and she was trying to pronounce M and N clearly lol cos there was alot of (fake) confusion.

so. i shall talk about the happier part of today, which was after the young artist recital. we all met in the conference room for some 'compulsory meeting' which turned out to be a birthday celebration for anna bulkina and baitianyi. and then when i thought everyone was gonna leave soon i smsed dad but then all the chinese sat down and started talking together with yejin and min hwan and vladimir. and rebecca. at first zhangcheng (hes pluto btw) was standing behind my chair and we were all randomly talking when kajeng started spinning mudi's phone then zhang cheng said he pities that phone because they always spin his phone and throw here throw there. then after that he sat down next to me and we started talking until they suddenly put the phone in the middle of the table and spinned. then it pointed at xiaozhe and mudi told him to go tap dr ungar's shoulder THEN i realised it was truth or dare. then after he successfully tapped drungar's shoulder and 'oh sry i didnt mean to' mudi made kajeng go touch mrs poon's skirt. this was DAMN DAMN DAMN funny okay.

he walked there then hahahaha then turn around then breathe breathe and walk there and hahahahaha again then all of us were dying with laughter omg. and when he finally decided to pluck up the courage to go there he walked there and mrs poon turned and said yes kajeng what do you want. GOD. it was SO FUNNY.

today was funfun!

DAY ONE AT PIANO TEXAS FESTIVAL THING.

basically, our hotel screwed up and three of us had to squeeze in one twin bed which obviously was not gonna happen so i think my dad ended up not sleeping. then we went hotel hunting and then we went for orientation which was okay but weird cos everyone is like so old (the age limit is all the way up to 28 so im like the puny shit there). and then we went with the 'young artists' to madama butterfly at the bass performing centre (think thats what its called). madama buttefly is opera btw, and it was cool except that all 3 of us turned into popsicles.

texas is EXTREMELY HOT AND STUFFY BTW. and worse than singapore.
and im home sick! bahh.

and from tmr onwards everyday is 11am and 3pm masterclass, with recitals on some days concert on others and i also have to bloody perform wattheshit that was SO NOT PLANNED. so now i have to prac my ass off again to prove im not some 15year old loser. screw piano.

yayy beijing concert is over, die prokofiev die. oh no wait hes already dead but still. so basically in the morning after i got up we went to 北京中国音乐学院 to prac 3h and my pinkie died a very horrible death. (it's still dead btw). then my mum said 临阵磨枪 obviously doesnt work. like duh i know man but i've only played this piece for a month so like will you shut.

then we ate lunch until 3, and my dad was surprised even the small roadside restaurants had fabulous veggies and even 水煮鱼! omg damn nice! and therefore me and my dad ate like almost the whole thing and felt so bloated we couldnt even walk out the door. then we came back and i took a nap before the rehearsal yea.

then concert was okay. talked to curtiswangke for like the whole night cos he like cant really speak chinese since hes abit shy but he can like understand. so yea and saw 小培 again yayy. she hasnt grown and neither have i. rawr.

saturday night 210407 (USA TIME)
arrived at traverse city after flying 7h to tokyo waiting 1.5h flying 10+h to portland waiting for 3+h flying 3+h to minneapolis waiting 3+h flying 1h to traverse city. BAD NEWS. i bloody lost my nano watthefriggintoot. and im still damn pissed aboutit so yea.

well basically. we likeleftthe airport close to 12 and we were in the carpark trying to work BOTH the gps AND our handphones. and BOTH DIDNT FRIGGIN WORK. and the place is so ulu there arent any street lamps. so dad used his 'simulation' gps map and he started driving. then after like half an hour me and mum felt that something was wrong cos the hotel was supposed to be within traverse city and the map was telling us to get onto us31 highway and drive 7 miles. so yea in the end it was me who read the very unclear map and brought us back to the hotel (:

rgstrings you all did a smashing job today irregardless of what the final result was.
its not my faul some DRAGGLETAILED GUTTERSNIPE hates my face and hates my parents for no apparent reason, and it was just so unfortunate that he sat on my side, and it was so unfortunate we were sandwiched in between RISE and STNICKS but whatever it was we were spectacular I feel, so different from the last time.

and im really sorry that I broke down really badly and affected everyone else, because I felt really really sad that we weren’t given the gwh DESPITE all our efforts and that even other schools that aren’t that good managed to. but regardless, like kevy says theres no use crying over spilt milk. we’ve done our best and im proud of it. ESPECIALLY THE CELLISTS JO PENNY KATHY AMANDA. learning from scratch and being able to play like you all did today was just an amazing job. and im REALLY PROUD TO BE IN THE SAME SECTION AS YOU ALL! :D <3!>

okay basically we drove like 1.5h to philadelphia today cos xiao pei got into the 2nd round so we like went to settle her there and my mum pei ta from 10 to 3pm and i swear the bloody examiners there are seriously ahem.
like her reporting time was 10.30 and supp to have warm up at 10.45 if im not wrong. then cos 'oh they are running a little late' she went in to prac at 11.30am. shes supp to have 1h warmup time BUT (yes you knew that was coming) at 12.30pm they decided to have lunch! how fascinating. so she had to wait there in the room like dunno what was happening what to do. so my mum is the best lahh she told the guy downstairs her daughter was upstairs and she had to tell her that they decided to have lunch so she went up and the guy was like hey your mum is here then xiao pei was like HUH cos she studies in the china conservatory and her parents live in like some other province whose name just slipped my mind. so yea my mum went in and said to her in chinese im your mum for the time being LOL.

AAANNNDDDD. there was this guy dumb lahh he's like from china but living in canada, then he needed to catch a flight back for a concert but his timing was like very late in the afternoon so his mum asked the admin guy if he could go first after their lunch break but he would go without warm up which technically is like the dumbest thing on earth cos he alr sat there for 2-3h (according to my mum since i wasnt there). SO. then he went in and he came out in 10mins. (other ppl played at least like 25mins so yea). i bet the they were like if you dont take this seriously why should we. or something like that. so yea.

WELL. me and dad went sightseeing in philly! cool man. first we went to the liberty bell centre and that bell is damn cool lahh they stroke it until it cracked damnit lol. so yea. it cracked on george washington's birthday or something i think when they struck it. HA. then damn pissing lahh the parkings are like damn ex my dad was like if he run we can make it for .5h cos halfh is 3.5 us$ 1h is $7 so we ran and ran then i swear usa is damn backward can walao must go to the machine pay then take ticket and drive out. so we parked ther for 32mins. VUNDERFUL!

then we went to Franklin Institute that place is cool! like the entire collection of the KING TUTENKHAMUN (whatever the spelling is) was like in that musuem and the first time it is travelling out of Egypt (i think) so we went lahh. cool stuffs man (: and we watched IMAX mysteries of egypt which we watched before in singapore! and i swear the IMAX looked exactly the same as the one in singapore lahh.

hmm then we went to the king of prussia mall apparently its like the 2nd largest mall in usa or something. damn big and as usual we didnt finish walking around.

okayy today was baaadd.
and its just the START of all bad dayss.
first off i got dragged out of bed at like 8.30 am and we only left the damn house at like wat 9.45 (?) which means i sat there at the table and stoned. seriously stoned and stared into space. and my uncle scolded my mum for waking me up so early (Y) i hearts me uncle (:

then we went to the conservatory to prac again and at first i thought we'd prac like 10.30-12.30/1pm but we ended up there until 2+ with an EMPTY stomach damnit. so yes i was damn hungry with a damn bad headache and in a damn bad mood. then we had no time to eat a proper lunch cos we had to pick max from school so we ate macdonalds which im not complaining abt cos they have diff food here (:

and i swear the short genes run in the family lahh max is like gg to be 7 and he friggin looks like hes 4 can. we went to his school to pick him up and when the kids were like leaving his two best buddies were helping him with all his stuffs and he was only up to their shoulders haha. wait correction he wasnt even up to their shoulders LOL. so i say it runs in the family not my fault ^^

yea then basically went back to the conservatory practiced for half an hour then i TRIED doing ss but without any success like duh and went back to prac at 4.45-7.15. so if you ppl back home are thinking your life there sucks think again.

ooh i forgot to mention.
its bloody -4dc here and im outta clothes to wear (Y) how nice. im like wearing my mums long sleeve shirt which is damn uber gross so i pulled my tshirt over it. the only one i have yes. and i cant go shopping until after next wed which is the thingum and if i can get into the next thingum it means more prac and one less free day. dont you think this is exciting.

rightyho basically i arrived in usa (speecifically my uncles house) ytd at like 9pm. so i woke up on tuesday singapore time at 3am and zao to the hospital, took the 6am flight for like abt 6.5h to tokyo, then took another 13h flight to detroit, then another 2h flight domestic to newyork JFK airport, then drove for another 4h before arriving at my uncles house. fun right. damn fun xia.

so we ate dinner and i slept at 1am. usa time. which is umm 2pm singapore time? on a wednesday? okay i have no idea count back 13h i suck at math (Y).

then today i got up (i got dragged out of bed more likely) and ate breakfast and went to the Pennsylvania Academy of Music to prac piano for like 2h before gg to lunch at some cool vietnamese restaurant before coming home and practicing for 1h. then i let xiao pei prac for 1h, then i practiced for another 1h then we had dinner. just in case you were wondering xiao pei is from shandong studying at beijing conservatory and shes having a combined recital with me and also gg for the other thing (kay mic debb you know this) so yea. stupid jet lag lahh i feel like im having a hangover. okay that doesnt make sense but yea.

today he was gg on abt how if the question like asks you how does imagery help to portray or bring across the message/intention of the poet etc, you like say for example the sun blahblahblah the rain blahblahblah then you goup it together and say the images of nature in thepoem bring across the theme of blahblahblah.

then kay was like if yuo have this sentece that you're like analysing and it kinda falls into two broad categories or its like sun rain flower and then suddenly SHADOW then where to put? then hewas like oh you must have a HOLISTIC interpretation, your interpretation of the entire poem must make sense and has to be clea cut blahblahblah. then he was like kayleigh do you understand? then kay out of courtesy she was like uhhuh but im wasnt gonna take it sitting down man so i was like mr lim, but you're not answering her question. then ppl grinned at me :D then he was like OKAY for example, the poem you are annotating has uses nature to portray the poets message, so you group them together into big group and write at the end of the paragraph or section all these are under the theme of nature, and the poet uses this theme to bring across the message of blahblahblah. then i was like okay so if after you anaylse the poem then theres this line where the image portrayed (if they're asking abt image) belongs into two categories like nature and people, where do you put it? like in one or both or at the bottom after we write the two paragraphs.

then he was like. OH I CANT TELL YOU THAT COS THATS WAT WE'RE TESTING YOU ON.

today i was like finally allowed to go for cip, but cos im sick so i went to the library to help instead of glory childcare centre. and mskranjitkaur, one of kay's best friends (:D), gav me and boon hwee eng names. like hurhur very funny. and then when cip ended at like 12.30 me debb and maji went to long johns at far east for lunch (: needless to say they didnt know abt it. go figure. then after lunch debb took taxi back with me and maji and she stayed for like 45mins until her dad came to pick her.

and this was SO like the last time kay came and she had to hideupstairs outside our house there haha. poor kay. so yea. and the funny thing was that we (me and maji) were afraid that they would call home then nobody picl up then die. but my veryintelligentdad forgot to hang up the phone so it was like on hold for like seven friggin hours. so no worries at all.

holeymoley schmokes i seriously hail myself as one of the proest people on earth. cos since a long time ago my parents ahve been trying to make me play the piano (parts of the piece where suitable) with my eyes closed. i never rally tried it cos i thought it was quite dumb and only proded musicians do that until today. when i played bach prelude with my eyes closed (cos i was too tired) and i was havin so much fun swaying from side to side that i fell asleep. as inseriously. and co i ahve a bloody bad headache.

and the headache is cos ive been thinking abt wat happened and ll the godamned stupid mistakes iv made, and how i was so ignorant and caught up inmy stuff that led to this final outcome. and cos i was thinking and thinking and thinking and thus i couldnt sleep and thats why i have this goddmned headache (partly).how i wish i could turnback time and change everything that happened.
